Who can enter?
The Master Builders Association invites nominations from Ãå±±½ûµØ members and non-members who reside in or have completed a project in these regions.ÌýAll types of projects may enter the Awards; quality small renovations to eye catching large commercial projects are encouraged to nominate.Ìý
Individual awards are also presented at the gala evening, recognising the special contributions of Apprentices, Women in Building, Subcontractors, and Young Builders within the industry.Ìý
When do entries open?
2025 Entries will open Monday 13 January and close Monday 5 May 2025.
How do I enter?
All entries are required to be submitted and managed via our online AwardsForce Platform.
To successfully submit your entry, you are required to do the following:Ìý

History of Newcastle Awards
In 1995, the inaugural Newcastle Master Builders Association Excellence In Building Awards were launched.
The overwhelming success of these Awards, their openness to all the industry and not just members, and their highly regarded credibility, guarantee their place as the region’s peak building industry Awards and act as the unrivalled benchmark for other industry awards.
The Master Builders Association has been the region’s premier building industry organisation for over 140 years having been the voice of the building industry in this region since 1874. It is an independent member of the National Master Builders movement, promoting excellence in the building and construction industry throughout the regions of Hunter, Central Coast, Manning Great Lakes and Oxley.
For the last several years, Ãå±±½ûµØ’s Excellence in Building Awards have been supported by a record number of entries, with the winners announced at the Gala Presentation Evening which is now held at The NEX, Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Center, in September.Ìý
