The construction of the Western Grandstand, completes the re development of the Energy Australia Stadium to an international standard, with a 33,000 seating capacity.
Some features incorporated in this final stage are:
•ÌýÌý ÌýTiered seating for 13,500 patrons
•ÌýÌý ÌýSpectator amenities, including bars, fast food outlets, toilets etc.
•ÌýÌý ÌýTelevision and Radio broadcasting rooms.
•ÌýÌý ÌýCorporate entertainment and function rooms
•ÌýÌý ÌýPolice and Security personnel rooms
•ÌýÌý ÌýCoaches and support staff rooms
The grandstand was completed in May 2011, eight weeks ahead of the contract completion date.
