The building design was based on the requirements for the Transmission Electron Microscope suites, ensuring the functionality of the highly sensitiveÌýcry-o-electron microscopes they house.Ìý³§³Ù°ù³Ü³¦³Ù³Ü°ù²¹±ôÌýre-design was required to accommodate the Incorporation Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer in lieu of traditional steel reinforcement.Ìý ÌýTo minimize electromagnetic field disruption,Ìýthe structure was designed with glass reinforced plastic reo and stainless steel for the bracing elements.
