This fitout refurbished the existing space for Ernst & Young on the 11th floor to provide a digital innovation hub for its clients and staff. The floor also provides for a café and terrace.
Being undertaken in an existing occupied building required detailed planning and co-ordination of services and finishes.
The blade wall upon entry consists of 142 individually laser-cut pieces of acrylic to give the effect of a wave.
The pivoting screen is impressive in its operation and quality of finish. It is 6.2m long and 2.5m tall and rotates around a square column. The intent is to size the rooms to the audience and the varying functions undertaken in the space.
The materials used and finishes achieved are to be commended.
