The Taronga Zoo African Savannah project is a world class, state-of-the-art and authentic African Savannah built environment,听in the heart of the existing Taronga Zoo.听The glass lion viewing areas required 40mm thick glass to resist a 200kg lion. The judges were impressed with the builders achievement of successfully completing a project of this complexity to such a high level of detail and authenticity within the built environment of the zoo.
